AFA was founded in 1964 in Vila Alpina district, a labor neighborhood in São Paulo.

At a time when Brazil depended on imports to have access to high-quality products in practically all segments,
the fouders of AFA decided to make an important strategic decision.

Arnaldo Sante Locoselli decided to have a company directed to clients whose operations demanded high-quality hoses.

10 years later, AFA moved to São Caetano do Sul city with larger installations and its capability tailored to supply the increasing demand of clients in the industrial segment.

The high level of demand of clients such as Volkswagen, Ford, Fiat, Electrolux and Whirlpool contributed for AFA to
invest more and more in research, development and quality control.

Besides supplying the automotive industry and white line, the pioneering, focus on quality and innovation at AFA were essential for the achievement of new segments: hoses for hospitals, food industry, fuels, agricultural applications, civil construction and gardening.

AFA has an industrial area of 15,000 m2, state-of-the-art European and American equipment, a team of more than 400 employees and it is the Brazilian leader in the segment of hoses.
